Holiday Books

One of the many advantages of holidaying in the UK is not having to worry about baggage allowances, and therefore being able to pack the suitcase with some gorgeous hardback books (and more!) This is the small collection I packed for this holiday:

Most of them are books I plan to review. With potentially more free time this holiday, I should be able to get through quite a few. Looking forward to a picture book intensive week – when we’re not out on a beach; climbing; running; fishing; boating…

With enormous thanks to Hachette Children’s Books, Harper Collins Children’s Books and Maverick Arts Publishing who between them sent us nine of the books pictured.

  1. Do you have any favourites which live at your Mull house? Ones you return to every year?

Not yet, we’ve only gone every other year since the children. I’m not sure I can bear to be that far away from any books! ;-)

  2. What a lovely selection – happy reading! Six Dinner Sid is one of my absolute favourites, such a simple idea but such fun.

MG loves that one, I found it in a charity shop after she talked about it from school :-) Only two of your books – not allowed anywhere without Martha!

  3. Ah, another Six Dinner Sid fan here. Looks like you have some fantastic books to read when you have a spare moment! Enjoy!
