300 Picture Books #4

Click on the badge above for details of the 300 picture books challenge and how to join in.

A fairly average week for us, a mix of re-reads and new reads, and a night or two of not much reading at all. We’re up to 57 books now, but ‘on track’ for the challenge would be 21 so don’t worry if you’re not storming along like some people have been, it all counts 🙂

We still haven’t been to the library, but that probably won’t happen until half term unless I go in and choose some books while my two are at school (or remember to get to the mobile library in time, I always forget that…)

No giveaway this week. I was going to do weekly giveaways for a bit but the postage was too high so it’s back to the original monthly plan! Until Friday, you can enter the giveaway for YA/MG books – these are generally suitable for age 9+ although some will be for older children. Next week is the first Monday in February so there will be a giveaway then 🙂

Chaos Household picture books read this week:
Can You Dance to the Boogaloo? How to Lose a Lemur Secret Seahorse This Book Belongs to Aye-Aye Wimpy Shrimpy Little Red Riding Hood Mortimer Keene: Ghosts on the Loose Cuckoo! Dino-Mummy There's a Dinosaur in my Bathtub Captain Beastlie's Pirate Party Who's Hiding? Not Last Night But the Night Before Hubert Horatio Bartle Bobton-Trent

  1. Genuine question – how do you keep track of what you’re reading? Because I’m proving to be quite hopeless with it. And I’m not keeping up on Shingle street with reviews, so that doesn’t work. Wah.
