Our Week in Books #40

Over three quarters of the way through the year now, and this always seems to be the time of year that flies past the quickest. In theory I should comfortably make 52 books read for me, but I am a little disappointed because I hoped to read more and several of them were very short books!

I think my plan for next year (I know there’s a while to be thinking about that yet!) will be to not buy any books for as long as I can. I do love books but so far we’ve had a gain of almost 200 books and that’s a lot to find space for, much as I love them all.

I really need to put aside an hour or so to update Goodreads so the picture books read total can go up properly. I waste time doing nothing much, it shouldn’t be hard, but I keep putting it off.

Henley Literary Festival tomorrow, which should be fun, and OCBG conference next Saturday – although I am panicking about how to pay for that one still.
